Eastern Washington State is home to a renowned wheat field that attracts photographers from all over. The rolling hills of wheat that span across the mountains are deserving of their reputation. I had always wanted to visit this picturesque location and finally made the journey in May. During this time, the wheat field was a lush green. I was told that by the start of August, during harvest season, the field would transform into a shimmering sea of gold. Mother Nature is a masterful artist who seamlessly blends the green of the wheat, the natural color of the soil, and the hues of the surrounding vegetation, making this wheat field a photographer’s paradise.
