On the third day, we departed from Kirkjubaejarklaustur and headed north to Fludir. Along the way, my friend and I wanted to see some puffins, so we stopped at a beach. Although we were unable to spot any puffins, we were still able to enjoy the beauty of the black-sand beach and the magnificent snow-capped mountains. Afterwards, we visited Skogarfoss waterfall, which was undoubtedly the highlight of the day’s trip. The waterfall was incredibly powerful and awe-inspiring.

I love the bird in the waterfall pictures. It really shows the scale of how big it is. Iceland is a place of many wonders.
