Today marks the fifth day of my Iceland trip. Having driven alone for several days, I felt quite exhausted today, so I decided to spend most of my time exploring the surroundings of Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. My first stop was Svínafellsjökull, a branch of Vatnajokull, Europe’s largest glacier. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on my side today. Every time I flew my drone over Svínafellsjökull, it would start raining halfway through, forcing me to bring the drone back. This happened several times, and I eventually gave up on the idea of flying my drone over the glacier. The scenery along the road from Svínafellsjökull to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon was breathtaking, with various branches of Vatnajokull and majestic snow-capped mountains surrounding me. At the end of the day, I spent a long time at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon admiring and photographing the various shapes of the icebergs on the lake, and even used my drone to capture some footage of the beautiful sunset around the lake.
