The Forbidden City in Beijing was the imperial palace for two Chinese dynasties and is renowned as the largest palace in the world. I had long wanted to take photos there, but it is always crowded every day. Fortunately, this time, I had a friend who works there and he kindly let me in through the back door in the early morning. As a result, I was able to capture some photos with very few people around. It was a beautiful day in Beijing with a clear blue sky visible in my photographs!
