The total solar eclipse that occurred on August 21st of this year was one of the most highly anticipated natural events of the year. The most thrilling aspect was the moment of totality, when the daytime sky turned into complete darkness for over two minutes! To witness this awe-inspiring spectacle, one had to be within the “totality path.” I, along with a group of friends, traveled to Stayton, Oregon, and camped in the backyard of a friend’s house to experience this event. The entire experience was so phenomenal that I still find myself thinking about it two months later.
