I had high hopes for my trip to Halong Bay, but unfortunately, the experience was marred by poor air quality that made the surroundings appear hazy and unappealing. Despite this setback, one aspect of the trip did leave a lasting impression on me. During a brief visit to a fishing village in Halong Bay, I was struck by the simplicity of life for the villagers and the minimalistic way in which they lived. This experience humbled me and provided a new perspective on the things we often take for granted in our daily lives.
