Kilmacduagh Monastery, a ruined abbey near the town of Gort in County Galway, Ireland, was the final destination of my one-day tour to the Cliffs of Moher. I only had a limited time to explore the abbey, spending approximately half an hour to take some photos. The desolation left by the historical vicissitudes at Kilmacduagh Monastery, similar to visiting Ayutthaya Ruins in Thailand, evokes a sense of peace and tranquility within me.
