Kilmacduagh Monastery is a ruined abbey near the town of Gort in County Galway, Ireland, and it is the last site I visited during my one-day tour to Cliffs of Moher. Since we only stopped for about half an hour, I only had just enough time to walk around the abbey to get some photos. Just like visiting Ayutthaya Ruins in Thailand, the desolation left by the historical vicissitudes somehow has made me feel a trace of peace and tranquility.
