Detian (Ban Gioc) Waterfall in Chongzuo, Guangxi, is known as the largest waterfall in Asia. In 2017, during my trip to Vietnam, a friend in New York suggested that I visit this “waterfall in Vietnam.” However, I later discovered that the Detian Waterfall is actually located on the Sino-Vietnamese border. Given that it is more convenient for me to visit Guangxi than Vietnam, I made a plan to visit Detian Waterfall this year. It takes over three hours to drive from Nanning Airport to Chongzuo, where the Detian Waterfall is located. The waterfall is also an excellent spot for drone photography.
