Since my last day tour to the Cliffs of Moher with Finn McCools Tours was so enjoyable, I decided to take another day tour while I was still in Ireland. This time, I booked a tour to the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland. Our first stop was the Dark Hedges, which became famous after being featured in “Game of Thrones.” Although we only stopped there briefly, there were so many people taking photos that it was difficult to get a good shot. Our next stop was the stunning Giant’s Causeway, a beach comprised of over 40,000 interlocking basalt columns. I wish I could have visited closer to sunset, as the mid-day lighting wasn’t ideal for photography. After visiting the Giant’s Causeway, we went to the rope bridge. Although the rope bridge itself is not particularly special, the scenery along the way to the bridge truly showcases the stunning beauty of the Northern Ireland coastline.
